G & G's Halloween Party!!

There is a night every year that is such a fun filled night for all. It's the night Grandma and Grandpa Harper throw their Halloween Party for the grandkids. It starts at 6:00 Friday night and goes until Saturday morning. Yep, that's right, all the grandkids sleep at their grandparents' house while the parents enjoy a night of quiet alone together.

I am a little late posting this because I just downloaded my dad's memory card onto my computer. But ALL the grandkids look forward to this because it is a night of games, pinatas, costumes, crafts and lots and lots of SUGAR!! (Let's keep in mind that when I was growing up, I would have never been caught dead with that much candy. Oh, but the grandkids can have as much as they want. But I guess I shouldn't be talking, my kids get deprived of candy too.)

Ummm, I promise she dressed like Princess Leia, not Hitler.

And at midnight, this is how the night ended. Well, maybe this isn't the best way for grandparents to end their day, waiting for kids to fall asleep at a sleepover, but they are troopers and love doing it. We are trying to convince them that there needs to be a Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, etc. grandkid party just like this, but we're lucky we got the Halloween party.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the free night of babysitters!!
