Christmas Eve Breakfast

My ALLL TIME favorite breakfast place is Crackers on Greenfield and Brown! They have some yummy french toast! My kids LOVE eating there too!! Well, we decided to go to breakfast the morning of Christmas Eve! Our kids were really well behaved that morning! It was a really nice breakfast! Well, just before we were supposed to get our check, another waitress came to our table and said this,

"That table over there just picked up your check!"

Say What??? It was a couple with their older son. They looked like bikers and I was in shock! What a great way to start the day!! They were leaving and had to walk by our table to leave, I told them Thanks and we really appreciated that.  They were super nice and told us how cute our kids were and they were happy to do that for us!

Love that there are still some great people in this world! Makes life happier!!

(This was Caleb with another sucker in his mouth just after we sat down at the table!!)

Christmas Eve Baker Party

Uncle Bryan wanted to hold Capri and his little girl Maylee had this obsession with her. She wanted to touch, kiss and look at Capri. Very sweet! Maylee is one adorable little girl!! She has big eyes and is just beautiful!

Holly read this funny story where if she said left or right, the kids would have pass the Santa left or right. They had fun with that!!

Elli with her prized possession

Capri was Baby Jesus!

It didn't last very long... I think the kids almost made her fall out and so she was done with that!

Lots of kids! But they had lots of fun!

ANother fun Christmas party! Thanks Greg and Holly for hosting it!!

Christmas Eve Eve Harper Party

FINALLY!!!!

Ok... so here is my Christmas Eve post.... you would think I would just forget about posting all these, but I use each post to make my scrapbooks each year!! I have to post or it gets forgotten!

SO here I go.

We had our annual Christmas Eve party with the Harpers and had a grand ole time!! We had lots of YUMMY food!! (As we always do) Then the kids act out the Nativity with Lisa being the reader.

Kids are always excited at first

Then they get crazier and more anxious... hence Lisa reads louder & faster. It's kind of funny, it happens every year.

Grandma gets everyone an ornament each year with things they like that year. We are into Phineas & Ferb, so B got the ornament for that, Caleb likes Spiderman this year, And E got the Smurfette ornament! Very fitting!!

Santa always has to make his appearance! Such a good sport! Kids love him!

I think I was in charge of getting all the kids' pictures because cameras weren't charged or they were forgotten. So here's Ryan's kids!!

Then we had a little White Elephant with the kids.... Caleb got this black candy necklace. It got all over his face!! It somehow disappeared before he could finish it.... I'm so mean!!!

We love Christmas parties..... that's why we have so many of them!!

Capri

Elli has had a blast being a big sister to Capri. She is a big help (most of the time... she still doesn't like feeding her) and will try and make her happy and play with her.

Before Christmas, Elli wanted to make it look like Capri was her present. So we took some pictures of her under the tree!! Kind of funny!!

At church, Capri being absolutely adorable!

Love those eyelashes!!

Caleb likes feeding her though!! Capri... not so sure about it!!

Elli's CMas Performance

Weeks before the concert.... she kept telling me she needs to wear Christmas colors and either a Santa hat or reindeer antlers or something Christmas-y. Well, Grandma Harper surprised her with these amazing reindeer antlers. She was so stoked to wear them and planned out her outfit weeks before it came time. Funny girl, I remember doing things like that too. Oh the things kids have to worry about!!

I kept telling her I couldn't make it. She begged and was very sad, but I told her it was impossible for me to come. I love surprising my kids.  But not only did I make it to the concert, Mark and Grandma Harper came too! She was one happy camper to see us there!! It was a cute concert and in the middle of videoing it, my battery died. I have 2 spare batteries, but they were dead too. Great!! But I did get some good videos!!

She is one cute First Grader!!
