Thanksgiving

It really isn't April because I am just getting to posting my Thanksgiving and Christmas pictures... REALLY!! 

We had a great Thanksgiving!! My cousins and immediate family all came to my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner!! Lots of people, but Lots of fun!! We LOVE the Shreeves!!

Then we headed to the park on Friday to hang with some of Mark's cousins that he hasn't seen in a really long time! After the park, Mark and Braeden went to Jesterz Comedy Club with them and Braeden had a BLAST!! Braeden didn't stop talking about funny it was for a while!!

Good Times!!

6 Months Already

This day came too fast......

She is already 6 months old today.

I can't get enough of her

I can't hold her tight enough

I can't kiss her enough

I can't get enough of her smell

I can't squeeze her squishy legs enough

I can't pinch her dimpled cheeks enough

I can't look at her enough

I can't get enough of her smiles

I can't get enough of her huge open mouthed smile

I can't get enough of her giggles

I can't get enough of her eyes

I can't get enough of rubbing her little piggy toes on my face

I can't get enough of nibbling on her fingers

I can't get enough of the noises she makes when she eats

I can't stop loving on this girl!!

She is absolutely perfect! I wish there was a way to make a mold of all her squishiness and store it for when she gets too big. This baby is way too delicious for me! Every waking moment I need my Capri fix. She literally is what I need right now in my life. I need her more than she needs me!! I have loved being her mom and I am looking forward to many more years with this sweet precious baby girl!!

I told Braeden & Elli that today was her 6 month mark and they want to have a 1/2 Birthday party for her! Not a bad idea!! Everyone in this household absolutely ADORES this little girl. They fight over holding her, playing with her, and will even make up the excuse that they forgot to give her a kiss when they are supposed to be in bed. Capri has completely changed our lives and we are loving this change!! 

Our Capri is too precious for words!! She is AMAZING!!!

Tiffany's Wedding

11.11.11

My awesome niece Tiffany got married in November in the LA Temple. She looked absolutely gorgeous and her dress was stunning!!

The kids waiting outside the temple for her to come out. It was a very busy day since it was 11.11.11 and there were lots of weddings going on.

Elli and Emma.... 8 days apart. They LOVE each other!

The "Flower Girls" with Tiff

These girls were entertaining everyone as things were getting set up for the reception. They sang Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and a few others they knew.

The DJ was talking and introducing people... so Caleb pulled up a chair and would clap when everyone else clapped!! LOVE THIS KID!!

Then the dance floor was open. All kids took the floor

And.... Caleb fell asleep. It was a long day. Caleb did his thing on the dance floor and then crashed. Such a stud!!

Preschool

Caleb is doing awesome in preschool! He LOVES going and tells me everyday that he needs to go to preschool. I am so proud of Caleb. I wasn't sure he was ready to go to preschool. But his teachers love him and tell me how well he is doing. Caleb has definitely grown up a lot this past year and I honestly can't live without this boy. He has his moments of being stubborn... very stubborn. He has taught me so many things and given me a better appreciation for the little things that I have been blessed with. I cherish this boy. He still lets me love on him and I adore the kisses he gives me. I truly am a lucky mom!!

The other day I told Caleb how cute he was and he got angry with me for that. He responded, "Mom, boys aren't cute, boys are AWESOME!" And when he said awesome, he threw his arms down to be more dramatic while saying that. But he's just so dang cute and says some of the funniest things! Love this kid!!!

He made this awesome car back in October for preschool!

Punch Out

After I fed Capri this morning, I put her in the swing and ran to the ladies room. While I was in there, I heard Capri screaming. I knew Caleb had done something.... the question was "What now?"

So I go in the family room and Caleb is hiding behind the couch and I ask him what he did. Here's what he said....

"I tried to play punch out with hers, but hers didn't want to."

Hmmmm, if Caleb wasn't so stinkin' cute, I think we would have dropped him off at Good Will by now.

Halloween

Halloween started a week early for our family.  Gma & Gpa Harper throw the BEST Halloween parties for their grandkids every year we ALL look forward to it each year. Even the parents!! We get to drop the kids off and have a date night!!

They were all so cute this year!

We have....

 Starting in back: Brock (army man), Drake (ninja), Cade (some Egyptian guy), Cole (basketball player), Clay (bum)

Front: Elli (angel), Blayke (witch), Crew (ninja), Caleb (Simba), Tyke (Frankenstein), Braeden (mummy)

The sweet little granddaughters.... they aren't the only girls in the bunch anymore.... 

Then it was the Halloween parade at school

Braeden was a mummy for the party but then the night before the parade, he decided to be something else. His mind was set on a zombie. I didn't know how to make that kind of costume. I didn't have much time in the morning to get him ready, Capri fed, get me dressed for the day and Elli dressed all before school. So I made him think of something else. I felt bad because he really wanted to be a zombie.... but it wasn't happening. So he thought of this. He is Litl' Mac from Punch Out. I made the belt and ripped a white shirt that night and he was so excited to be this. Phew!!

Then Caleb had his preschool parade!! Look at that little Simba!! Such a funny costume, but that's what he wanted!!

Then we went to Dewitt Stables the Saturday before. It was fun. Kind of like Schnepf Farms but smaller.

This stage in life... Braeden is into squids. Not sure why, but he is. 

Caleb wanted a butterfly.... umm, OK, you can have a butterfly, but we are gonna do USC colors to make it more boyish!!

This was the funnest thing there for the kids. They did this about 4 times.

Pumpkin carving. Always a good time!! I hate cleaning out the pumpkin. I'm glad Mark took control. My only job was to take pictures.

I love Elli's heart eyes and star nose. Such a girl thing!  They were all pretty proud of their finished product!!

Finally... it is time to go trick or treating.....
