Happy New Year

I had to take a picture of me and my Chubs . . . again.  Because he and I woke up this morning with PINK EYE.  I know we look beautiful and you're all jealous of us.  But we went to the doctor today and guess what... Caleb has 2 Ear Infections.  WHAT????  My baby who has hardly complained about being sick.  Yesterday he was kind of restless and wouldn't sleep, but he hardly cried or complained.  I went to the doctor just to get a prescription for pink eye.  Glad he had pink eye so we could get his ear infections taken care of too.  Sweet boy!  He is such a trooper.

As for our New Year's Eve plans....... Down the drain they go!  Guess we'll be home tonight wallowing in our pool of contagious goop in our eyes.  But it's all good, Mark and I don't need a night away without the kids.  We'll be fine at home!!  (Sense the sarcasm.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL

Park Day

I was getting tired of kids running around in the house and being crazy, so I left and took them to the park.  We had a fun time up until I told them it was time to go..... but I won't go into that.

Anyway, before we went to play on the playground, we watch the ducks and birds for a little bit.  I heard Caleb and was wondering what he was laughing at.  I looked at what he was looking at and there were pigeons just walking around.  Caleb got a kick out of it and laughed for a long time at them.  I couldn't not video him so here it is if you want to watch a cute baby laughing!!

THE BIG DAY!!

We spent the real Christmas Eve with Mark's fam damily.  Lot's and lots of people, and lots of fun!

Caleb with his cute cousin who is only 2 weeks younger than him.  Caleb is sure letting Carter know who is boss.

Grandma Dianna and Grandpa Bob came to AZ to visit and grandma wanted a picture with her 3 littlest grandkids but Eli was sick at home.  We sure missed him.

Elli with her cousin Haley in the Nativity!  They have many many little girls so there are many many angels in this Nativity.  Cute!

Mark doing what he does best!  Playing some of the songs he has written.

Like father like son.  Braeden has been taking piano for only 4 months now and he has the Jingle Bells song memorized so he plays it wherever there is a piano.  He's gotten so good at this song that he has started karate chopping the keys.  I asked him why he does that and his response.... "Because it tells me to play loud"

The only thing Braeden wanted from Santa was a guitar.  He was so surprised when Grandma Dianna and Grandpa Bob got him one.  He was so curious what Santa would bring him since he didn't need a guitar anymore.  But all of his cousins that went to Mark's concert that asked for a guitar, got one for Christmas.  So now the have started a band.  They have named their band the Rockin' Boys.  And boy were they rockin' with their out of tune guitars.  Too cute though!

CHRISTMAS DAY!!

So Santa came I am pretty sure everyone was happy.  I wish someone would have let Santa know that all Caleb wanted for Christmas was a pile of wrapping paper and boxes to suck on.  It would have been a lot easier for him.  But we're happy with the cute piano he brought for him!!

Opening more presents at G & G Harper's house. The kids always have so much fun passing out presents and opening them.  Every year before we start we always say that we need to slow down the opening of the presents and have them get opened one by one.  But that NEVER happens and it's always craziness.

Paper being thrown in the air....

Kids passing out everyone's presents....

Getting cool gifts from everyone....

What a great time of the year!!  Thanks to EVERYONE who made this year's Christmas such a memorable one!

Harper Christmas Eve Party

My parents like to have a big Christmas Eve party but it's hard to do it on the real Christmas Eve.  So we did it early and it was A LOT OF FUN!!  Yummy food, kids being crazy, crafts, SANTA, candy, kids being crazy, nativity, more candy and more yummy food.  It was a lot of fun!

My big sis Lisa helping the only little girls in the fam.  Aaawwww!

I love how CHILL Caleb is in this picture!  It's just another day, another person holding him.  "Let me rest my cute little arm on this big belly."  I can't stand the cuteness!!

Then there was a lovely Nativity.  Braeden was the sheep.  Elli was the angel since she did an AWESOME last year as the angel.  She held her arm up like that for almost the whole time.  Like I said, she was an AWESOME angel!!

I love our little animals!!  They were fun to watch.

We love this time of year and even through all the chaos, it was a fun night!!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Harper!!

Elli's Preschool Christmas Program

Elli had a very cute Christmas program with her preschool.  She did GREAT!!  She sang every song and just looked so cute up there.  No fear at all.  She is such a little ham!!  Good job Elli!!

Santa surprised us with a visit from the North Pole.  Elli was excited for that.  I watch my little nephew every now and then and he got to come with us to Elli's program.  He is so dang cute!!

My mom and I went to lunch after her performance and this is what kept the kids busy.  They watched a movie and did the same thing with their hands while watching it.  TOO CUTE!!

Our version of a Gingerbread House

I've gotten those pre-made gingerbread houses for the past couple Christmases and decided to go easy this year.  I found this FOAM gingerbread house at Joann's and decided I would do this instead.  Almost every piece interlocked to each other or had a sticky backside to it.  The only thing we had to glue was the "candy"  It was great.  The kids loved it and all I had to do was stick and throw away the scraps.  The thought it was the funnest FHE.  It was a big hit!

Princess Elli

This picture is for Grandma Dianna.  She sent Elli this BEAUTIFUL dress for Christmas a couple weeks ago and has already wore it to church twice.  She wants to wear it every Sunday.  You probably can't see the sparkles on it very well, but Elli is WAY into sparkles.  Thanks Grandma!!

Grandpa vs Caleb

I just thought these pictures were cute of my dad and Caleb.  They have the same faces in each picture.  I was trying to get a picture where they both were smiling, but it didn't go too well . . . but they both are cute!

Heads are both tilted a little.

Queen Creek's Hometown Christmas

We had a FUN night at the Queen Creek Hometown Christmas Night at the beginning of the month.  Mark's band performed and they did GREAT!!!  All the kids had fun dancing around, playing in the "snow" and seeing Santa.

My family came to watch Mark perform.  I know Mark's family wanted to come, but they couldn't make it.  We missed them though!

Mark looks so good on stage.  He is a natural musician and fun to watch.  In the pictures of the band on stage, you can see Braeden (white and black striped shirt) in the front with all the kids dancing around.  Braeden is his daddy's biggest fan.

It was cute when all the kids sat on Santa's lap.  They all asked for a guitar.  Except for Elli of course, she asked for Pixos . . . dang commercials, my kids want everything advertised between cartoons.

Then there is our sweet Aunt Kara who always wants to be in the picture.  Oh but isn't she adorable!!

Below are some videos taken from my snap camera.  Our video camera was getting fixed and all I had was my regular camera.  They aren't the greatest quality, but you get the picture.

You can see the kids dancing around in the front which is cute.  If you catch a glimpse of Braeden, he was doing that the whole night . . . pretending to have a guitar and being crazy.
