Build A Bear

Elli and her cousin Emma are only 8 days apart.  So for Emma's birthday, she took Elli to Build A Bear and they had so much fun together.

Picking out their hearts.  They got 2 hearts since it was their birthday.

Helping stuff their bears.

Elli picked out a princess outfit.

After, we went to Dairy Queen and they are waiting very patient for their ice cream.

Elli never wants her cones dipped, but I convinced her to get it dipped because I wanted a bite.  Mmmmm, cherry dipped cones.

Ya, it wasn't raining, but what girl doesn't love walking with an umbrella??  Such cute girls!!!

Thanks Emma and Camille for s super fun GIRLS night!!!

Minnie Mouse Party

Elli has never had a big friend birthday before.  It's always been little family parties.  So I thought it was long overdue for this girl to get some real party time this year!!  And she wanted a Minnie Mouse party.  So that's what we did!!

Our Minnie Mouse suckers.

My attempt at making Minnie Mouse cupcakes.  Don't look too close.

We love you Elli and we are so glad you had a FABULOUS BIRTHDAY weekend!!

Elli Mae's Turned the BIG 5

Despite our wishes, Elli turned 5.  We can hardly believe it.  She seriously grew up WAY TOO fast.  Kind of annoying.  But I think she had a fabulous birthday.  Her bday was on a Thursday and so after her school, Mark and I took her to lunch.  Her mind was set on McDonald's.  (Because they had Chipmunk toys for their Happy Meals)  So I got her a Happy Meal (which ended up being a weird dinosaur since the Chipmunks were gone) and Mark and I ate at Charleston's.  It was fun!

After Mark got home from work, Elli opened some presents....

And we ate some cake.

Elli had a fun day and she definitely took advantage of her birthday.  All day she would tell, "I can do anything I want Mom, it's my birthday."  Too funny!

January Birthdays

We have a million birthdays in January.  We celebrated over FHE at the Harper home.

Crew's aunt made him a cool basketball cake.  VERY YUMMY!!

Kids eating their cake and ice cream.

The love birds!!

My mom has a wall of all our wedding pictures.  She just doesn't have Kara & Ryan's pictures up since they aren't getting married until March.  So my brother Ryan drew a picture of them.  Kind of funny!

One good lookin' creature!!

So this is an amazing sight for our family.
Braeden has never been a big fan of Sundays and going to church because he hates getting church clothes on.  Well, he randomly came up to me and asked if I could get him a jacket to go with his church clothes.  I was shocked.  My boy who hated wearing church clothes asked if I could get him a suit jacket.  Well, lucky for him, Mark's mom gave me one of Mark's suit jacket from when he was a boy.  It was big for him when she gave it to me, but I kept it around and when he tried it on, it fit perfectly.  So I got it dry cleaned and got him some new black dress pants and he was good to go.  I couldn't stop looking at him!  He was so stinkin' handsome!!  Man, he is a heartbreaker!!

Happy Groundhog's Day

Braeden just came and asked me if I watched the news today about Groundhog's Day.  I told him that the groundhog saw his shadow and that it's winter for another 6 weeks (I think that's how long it is)  Braeden got all disappointed and almost teared up.  I asked him why he was so bugged about it and he said, "Cause I want to wear shorts."  Hmmm, he'll probably be back in shorts in no time.  Heck, maybe even next week.

Cute kid!!

Papago Park

We were bored one Saturday and decided to pack up and go on a hike to Papago Park.  As much as we could hike with 3 little ones.  The kids absolutely loved it though and they got worn out.

Mark carried Caleb on his back up until the very end which made it nice.

They wanted a picture by the dinosaur skull.

Love it!!

Memories

A couple weeks ago, I went to a fun Baby Shower.  A shower for Mark's cousin, Jenna, who is having a baby girl!!  I love all these girls.  These girls come from a BIG family.  Ellen had 9 kids... 7 girls and 2 boys.  And they are all so stinkin' sweet and adorable.  So fun to hang with.  But the lady in pink is Debbie and her and her husband swapped houses with my sister.  Debbie bought Lisa's house and Lisa bought Debbie's house.  So it was soooo fun visiting my sister's old house.  I miss it.  I spent many days there babysitting and chasing boys around.

Camille, Jenna and I

It was a fun night with everyone and enjoying the cutest little girl clothes!!
