Despite our wishes, Elli turned 5. We can hardly believe it. She seriously grew up WAY TOO fast. Kind of annoying. But I think she had a fabulous birthday. Her bday was on a Thursday and so after her school, Mark and I took her to lunch. Her mind was set on McDonald's. (Because they had Chipmunk toys for their Happy Meals) So I got her a Happy Meal (which ended up being a weird dinosaur since the Chipmunks were gone) and Mark and I ate at Charleston's. It was fun!
After Mark got home from work, Elli opened some presents....
And we ate some cake.
Elli had a fun day and she definitely took advantage of her birthday. All day she would tell, "I can do anything I want Mom, it's my birthday." Too funny!
